A hand made and hand painted duck decoy that was used in hunting. It is a work of folk art.

A lightweight wood has been carved in the shape of a duck. The head was carved separately and attached. There was a bar or weight on the base but which is now missing. The painting is very crude but proficient and has folk art charm. The eyes are painted and so are feathers on the duck’s back.

There are no marks or labels.
