Art Deco Abingdon Fan Leaf Vase Circa 1930

A very stylized floral leaf in seafoam green has been made by the Abingdon U.S.A. company during the Art Deco period.
 
The molded vase has a colorful celadon glaze that is thick, soft feeling and has a shine. The foot is very shallow, unglazed and shows the heavy buff clay used. This clay is resistant to cracking. You can see the knife marks on the foot. 
 
A mark that reads ABINGDON U.S.A within a rectangular box is stamped in blue on the base.

9 ¼ in (23.5 cm) wide x 2 5/8 in (6.7 cm) deep x 8 7/8 in (22.5 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lbs 10.6 oz (1215 g)
 
CONDITION
 
There are no cracks, chips, breaks, or repairs. The glaze shows very light wear.
 
A great nice large Art Deco vase to use or decorate with.
