Lithographed Tin Mechanical Bossy Moo Cow Toy Circa 1930's

A fun and goofy lithographed tin toy that will add to a vintage toy collection. It’s designed so that when you push her tail down , she closes his eyes, opens her mouth, and lets out a little moo. Please note that it’s missing two grommets that connect the mechanism to the tail, and the soundbox

 

 

9” (22.9 cm) long x 3 1/8” (7.9 cm) wide x 6 ½” (16.5 cm) tall. Weighs 7.1 oz (200 g)

 

 

The cow is missing two of the grommets that would attach to aid in movement of the head, eyes, and mouth. It has all of the pieces, but they need the grommets for attachment to make it work.  The eyes and the mouth do work when you raise her head. It is also missing the moo sound box. There is a loss of decoration on the top of the cow, as well as scratches throughout.
