A hand-crafted cotton cord toggle with a Buddhist endless knot motif.
 
Green-dyed cotton cord has been knotted into a design to be hung from an object or sash. The workmanship is tight and experienced. There are four brown knots in the central design. Fine threads have been used at intervals to gather the cords together.
 
MEASUREMENTS
 
10 7/8” (27.6 cm) long x 2 1/8” (5.4 cm) wide. Weighs .11 oz (3.3 g)
 
CONDITION  
 
The green cord is faded and soiled. There is also fraying on the cord of the knot, most notably on one side. The top looks like it was cut.
 
An old toggle that could be added to the bottom of artwork or just hanging on its own.
