An elaborate and colorful glass and silverplate holder that is a real showstopper. The sapphire blue glass is so detailed and highly decorated.

The silver plate holder has designs of flowers, fruit and wheat heads, loop handles and four sunflower motif legs. The detail is crisp and deep with the added element of silver shine. The glass is a deep blue sapphire color and takes on a life when lit up. The glass has white enameling on the sides with a design of birds and flowers. It is so well done. There is shading and depth to the flowers and the wings of the birds. The edges have gilt.

Aa stamped mark on the base reads REED & BARTON MFD & PLATED. The numbers 51 and 4000 are also stamped on the base.
