An antique chocolate mold in the shape of the white stork of France. It can still be used today to mold chocolate or even butter. Can you imagine all the little stork chocolates and butters for a baby shower?

The tin metal form in the shape of a stork was used to make chocolate figures. The stork is a good luck symbol in France and delivering babies in the US. The mold has been painted with a black paint. It has a hole at the top for hanging and two raised bumps on alternate sides to fit indents on the other sides. The base is a round hole to fill and let excess chocolate out. There is a notch on one side to tie the pieces together.

The word FRANCE is stamped above a wing on one side. There is also a diamond shape with the number 23 within and a production number of 55.
