A set of three Chinese porcelain plates with a rooster and peony bush in the design. Each plate is slightly different.

The molded porcelain plates with a floral edge have been decorated in over glaze enamels. The painting is crude with quick strokes of the brush. The backside of the plate has a quick iron red bamboo design.

The plates have raised, unglazed feet with some grit. The clay, which is visible on the feet, is an oatmeal color. You can see the knife marks from trimming.
