Large Japanese Cloisonne Vase Wisteria Motif c 1960

A deep green Japanese cloisonne vase from the 1960s decorated with sprays of bright blue wisteria flowers. The colors on the vase are so vivid and deep. The artistry is skilled and shows the Japanese taste of blank space.
 
A base metal has been covered in shiny glass enamels. Very narrow brass wire has been used to create the floral decoration. The glaze shines with a depth of color. The silver mounts shine too.
 
The vase has no hallmarks or labels.

5 ¼ in (13.3 cm) diameter x 10 ¾ in (27.3 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lbs 10.7 oz (1210 g)
 
CONDITION
 
There are no breaks, dents, cracks, or repairs. There are a few scratches on the back (please see photo). The top and bottom metal mounts are a shiny silver color with no tarnish, but they do have moderate scratches.
