A large and colorful hand painted bowl with designs of a parrot, deer, mountains, maple leaves, and a pine tree. The designs are separated like a fabric print.

The outside of the bowl is painted with fans and maple leaves. There is much gilding to accent the paintings. The glazes are thick, smooth and shiny. The mouth rim is painted with an iron red circular pattern ring.

The bowl has a double foot. The outer foot is glazed while the inner circle foot is partially glazed. The base is glazed with no marks or labels. The well and base both show the potter’s wheel rings.
