Imaginative napkin ring in the shape of a lily pad, with a loop handle and a water lily blossom. It shines with quite a bit of silver left.

A heavy metal silver-plated napkin ring. From the lily pad is a looped stem handle with a lily flower to the side. There is a round napkin ring above the pad. There is an etched floral design with a four-letter monogram within. There is a raised foot ring to support a round lily pad. The napkin ring has most of its silver.

On the base is the stamped company marks. They are circular and have the words; B.MERIDEN.COMPANY surrounding a scale design. The other circular mark has the word QUADRUPLE PLATE. There are also the initials U.S.A. and the number 168. There is an etched number 90.

MEASUREMENTS

CONDITION
There are no breaks or big dents. There is wear to the edges of the ring and a lily pad of tiny nicks. There are tiny wear scratches and silver loss. It has still shined up well and looks bright and shiny.

A fanciful work from the Aesthetic Movement period. Much expert work and detail went into making this utilitarian object. It can still be used today.
