Vintage 16” Green Hardstone Bead Necklace 1960’s

A colorful, well-matched hardstone bead necklace from the 1960’s with the look of jade.

The necklace is made from thirty-four well matched, 10 mm round hardstone beads. The beads have a great green color with light green inclusions. The clasp is straight out of the 60’s with a crystal in the gold-colored metal. The clasp has a wedge that fits into the oval clasp. The beads have a white hand knotted cord separating them.

The necklace is unmarked

16” (40.6 cm) long. Hangs 8” (20.3 cm). Each bead is 10 mm in diameter. Weighs 2.2 oz (60 g)

There are no breaks, cracks, chips, or missing beads. The clasp has significant wear, but still has the cast of gold.

A great necklace with that jade look alike color that will add to a collection and still be worn today.
