A vintage reproduction of an ancient Song Chinese hare’s fur glaze bowl. Although it was made in the late 20th C, it is still handmade and closely mimics the original.
The ceramic bowl has been glazed in a dark brown glaze with spotted and striated highlights. The clay used is a buff color and can be seen on the base and foot. The glaze has pooled just above the foot.
MEASUREMENTS
5 ¼” diameter x 2 ½” tall. Weighs 9.4 oz (265 g)
