Birds of Washington State by Stanley Jewett et al

Birds of Washington State is not a field guide. Rather it represents a baseline of birds in Washington State at the time of publication. If you are looking for a "what bird is that guide" this is not a book for you. However if you were to ask "what has changed" in the status of birds in Washington state? This is a good place to start.

 

In addition to many details about ecosystems, the book has many full page color and black and white plates.

 

The front cover has a crease and some wear. The spine is intact with some wear on the edges. The back cover is in good condition. There is some yellowing to the pages, but the color plates are still quite bright.
