Funny, whimsical early figurines of famous cartoon characters. They are by Evan K Shaw for Warner Brothers.
Ceramic figurines with a tiny crackle of gray, pink, blue, black, and yellow glazing. The figurines are lightweight and feel smooth and slick. They were produced in the 1940s for Warner Brothers. They portray an older look for Bugs and Elmer.
There is the number eleven in black under Elmer and a stamped No. 15 under Bugs. There are no other marks or labels.
MEASUREMENTS
4” (10.2 cm) tall. Weight 8.5 oz (240 g)
CONDITION
There is a chip out of the gun end on Elmer. There are two tiny chips on the bill to Elmer’s cap. Bugs is perfect.
A classic great pair of early cartoon figurines. They are hysterical. That wascally wabbit.
