A fun, hand-painted ceramic figurine of Bugs Bunny from the 1940’s. Bugs is sitting and looks like he’s thinking. His pose is a bit different than the more commonly found pose with his head in his hands looking forlorn. Here he just looks bored.

A molded piece has an unglazed base with pink clay showing. A production number (No. 19) is molded into the base., alongside a hand painted letter M. The remnant of the original label is on his cap. Only the first few letters of “Elmer” are visible on the label.

MEASUREMENTS

5 ½” (14.0 cm) tall. Weighs 9.0 oz (345 g)

CONDITION

There are no cracks, chips, breaks, or repairs. There is a fine crackle to the glaze. The glazes are bright and fresh.
