An antique Chinese brass censer with a pierced pale green hardstone that can still be used today to burn incense.
The body of the brass censer has been engraved with shou characters and blossoms. One side of the lid is open, and the other has a pierced pale green hardstone in the shape of a Buddhist endless knot and lotus flowers. The censer rests on a hardwood stand from the same time period of around 1920.
The body is supported by a raised foot. “CHINA” is engraved on the bases of both the censer and the stand.

4 ¼” (10.8 cm) diameter x 2” (5.1 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 1.2 oz (505 g)
CONDITION
There are no breaks, chips, cracks, or dents. The censer has taken on a spotted patina with some verdigris. The stone has no breaks or cracks.
