English Flow Blue Serving Platter 16 in Johnson Bros Oxford Pattern c 1913

A rare antique Johnson Bros. England "Oxford" 16" Flow Blue Platter with Gold Metallic Trim. This serving platter is rarer than the 12” and 14” platters in the series. 
 
The platter features a distinct scalloped edge with baroque scroll It is an absolutely stunning piece of the late Edwardian Period china that made it unscathed for over 100 years.
 
The backstamp reads “Oxford”,  “_ohnson Bros” and “England”. (The "J" os missing from "Johnson"). This mark was between 1913 and the early 1920s (when “made in” was added to comply with US importation rules).
 
MEASUREMENTS
 
16” (60.6 cm) long x 12” (30.5 cm) wide x 1 5/8” (4.1 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lbs 12 oz
 
CONDITION
 
There are no chips, breaks or repairs. There are wear scratches in the well and wear to the gilding. Crazing is minor.
