A molded pair of ceramic Chinese figures of scholars resting on rocks and holding books. The scholars have Ming hats and robes. The robes have very muted colors. The details of the figures were sculpted by hand and show much attention to detail.

The bases are unglazed and are impressed with the word CHINA. They have remnants of old paper labels on the backs that read “MADE IN CHINA CYK – 654”.
