Chinese Qing Carved Pincushion Circa 1900

An old, ornately-carved pincushion with a red cushion top with a design of birds and flowers.

The carved design on the bone cylinder is pierced with small holes. The base is solid and flat with the coarseness of bone. The top pincushion is a round pillow of cotton red fabric almost like velvet.

MEASUREMENTS
1 7/16” (3.7 cm) tall x 7/8” (2.2 cm) diameter. Weighs .6 oz (15 g)

CONDITION
There is a crack going down the side and some soiling to the red top. 

A fun, decorative, pincushion to add to a collection.
