A fun, colorful, Victorian glass vase that is heavy and oh so pink.

The vase has a bulbous heavy pink body with a tall neck and small mouth. The glass was blown into a mold. The base has no pantile mark but has a ringed and wavy pattern. The outside of the vase has been painted with a design of a blue bird with a red throat and dark yellow wings flying back to her nest in a tree. There are white flowers and grass with golden gains near the tree base. There are blue bands at the base and at the mouth; the band of the mouth has a thin gold leaf border. The glass feels soft and thick and is quite shiny. The painting is adept and naïve.

MEASUREMENTS
8 ¾” (22.2 cm) tall x 6 ¼” (15.9 cm) diameter. Weight 1 lb 4.0 oz (570 g)

CONDITION
There are no chips, cracks, or breaks. With an exception of the gold leaf edge to the blue edge at the mouth, the paintings are still bright and fresh looking. There is wear on the inside of the mouth. There are flaws in the glass like dimples and wear scratches. The vase looks great and bright.

A delightful, colorful vase to brighten up any room. This vase will add age and distinction to your décor. It would really stand out with the white distressed furniture of shabby chic.
