A three-legged 19th century Chinese porcelain incense burner with a rich burnt amber color glaze.
The censer has a flat mouth rim and unglazed interior, and was used for burning incense. The feet have a ridged scroll design and are unglazed at the base. The glaze is a nice light caramel brown with darker color where the glaze has pooled. It feels very soft and smooth to the touch.
5 ½” (14.0 cm) diameter x 3 ¾” (9.5 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 2.8 oz (535 g)
There is a long crack going from the rim, across the base and up part of the way on the other side. There are no other cracks or chips. The bottoms of the feet are worn quite smooth and the exterior glaze has light scratches from use.
A decorative censer with a rich caramel color. It will look great adding substance and age to your décor. Put sand and joss sticks in it and use it.
