Chinese Crackle Polychrome Oatmeal Ginger Jar with Warriors Republic Period

A Chinese ginger jar with hand painted warring figures and iron glazed bands to simulate bronze.

The porcelain ginger jar has its original lid and thick crackle oatmeal. The lines produced by the crackle have a yellow color. Iron glazed bands at the mouth and above the foot simulate bronze work. and even has a molded texture. The mouth of the jar, lid interior mouth and the rounded foot are unglazed. The base is glazed.

4 ½” (11.4 cm) diameter x 6 ¼” (15.9 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 15 oz (495 g)

There are no cracks, chips, or breaks. There are painting and kiln flaws, such as glaze spots, black spots, and reserve spots. The enamels are bright and colorful. The glaze on the ground on the lid and body do not match exactly.
