An antique Chinese vase in the shape of a pillow that has a very pale thick green glaze with darker green splashes. The interior is glazed and has more green coloring. The glaze is very thick and very smooth from years of handling and oxidization.

The base is glazed and has a saggar mark on each corner. The base is flat. The word CHINA was stamped into the base before firing.

4 7/8” (12.4 cm) wide x 3 1/8” (7.9 cm) deep x 5 5/8” (14.3 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lbs 0 oz (900 g)

CONDITION

There are no cracks, chips, or breaks. There are glaze frits along many of the edges. Otherwise, the glaze is still shiny looking with little wear scratching. The vase has kiln flaws, such as bumps, black spots and pin hole reserves.
