A colorful, antique porcelain saucer with a central medallion of a water scene with a duck and lotus.

The thinly potted saucer with alternating panels of birds and flowers and garden scenes. The central medallion is very interesting with a duck swimming by a seeding grass head and lotus flower. The gilding is still bright and intact. The cavetto has peony scrolling in gilt with butterflies. and the decoration is very tiny and detailed.

The low, cut foot ring is unglazed. The base is glazed and unmarked. The porcelain body is fairly white.
