A fun and nostalgic spaghetti cat and kittens from the 1950's that will take you back in time.

The set of three figurines are in the shape of a cat with her two kittens. The kittens are connected to each other with a gold-colored chain. All three figures are hand painted with fine details in the faces. All three figures have strands of fine porcelain spaghetti to look like long fur. They have holes in the flat unglazed bases for firing.

There is a silver paper label on the mother cat. It is worn and difficult to read, but I believe its a label from Royal Sealy from Japan.

MEASUREMENTS

Mama – 5 ¾ in (14.6 cm) tall.
Each kitten – 2 1/8 in (5.4 cm) tall.
Total weight 8.4 oz (240 g)

CONDITION

The mother cat has chips on the front of the brim of her hat. Otherwise, there are no breaks, cracks, or repairs. The spaghetti fur looks to be in perfect condition. The painting is very fresh, with the exception of very light wear to the gilding on the fur and under mamas mouth, and a bit of wear to some of mama's red claws. There is a ring on mamas neck and so it might be missing a chain to connect the mama to her kittens. The chain that connects the kittens is present.

A great mid-century set to add cats to your home décor
