A colorful and deeply molded representation of A Chinese mandarin from the Qing dynasty. He has all the accoutrement such as the bead necklace, the tasseled hat with bead, rank badge and ruyi scepter. Even his back shows the rank badge and a long pig tail. The base is flat and unglazed. There is a central firing hole on the base.
 
CHINA is stamped in black on the base.

6” (15.2 cm) tall. Weighs 5.3 oz (145 g)
 
CONDITION
 
The cuff of the robe sleeve on the hand with the scepter has a chip. There are no other chips, cracks, or breaks. The glazes are bright and fresh.
 
An historic figurine depicting a Chinese mandarin from the Qing dynasty. I love the realistic depiction even down to his long moustache.
