Product variants

A set of three very nice Royal Bayreuth Tettau 9 in dinner plates in the Blue Onion or Strawflower pattern with gold trim and accents. The porcelain is swirled.

Two of the plates are a ¼ in larger in diameter but more shallow than the third.

They all have the Royal Tettau mark of the lion with crown holding the letter T that dates from 1885 to 1902.

MEASUREMENTS

One plate - 9 in (22.9 cm) diameter x 1 ½ in (3.8 cm) deep.

Two plates – 9 1/4 in (23.5 cm) diameter x 1 1/8 in (2.9 cm) deep.

Total weight 2 lbs 13.7 oz (1305 g)

CONDITION

One of the shallower places has two hairlines extending from the rim and the other shallower place has only one. This plate has one small rim chip. Both of these plates have significant wear to the gilding but the enamels and surface do not show much wear.

The deeper plate has no chip or cracks, and more gilding remains.

A very pretty set of plates to mix and match with other antique plates at your dinner table.
