A fun antique partial tea set made in Staffordshire of a little girl in an Aesthetic Movement patterned transfer.
The lightweight ceramic pieces have been glazed in an off white glaze and decorated with a brown transfer. The design is of a little girl given the name Little Mae. The design is very bucolic with Mae holding eggs in her apron. There is a house in the distance with a fence surrounding it. There are floral borders and strawberry accents.
The partial set includes three saucers for the teacups, two teacups, four plates, a sugar bowl, and teapot
The pieces have a shallow rounded feet and most pieces are marked STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND on the bases. Not all of the pieces have the mark.

CONDITION
The sugar bowl is missing its lid. One plate has a few small rim chips and some staining on top and back. One saucer has a hairline from the mouth. One plate has moderate staining to the front and back. The only other damage is to the teapot lid. It was broken in two and re-stuck. There is also a chip on the underside of the lid. The dishes have some transfer mistakes, spotting, bumps and grit from manufacture. There is some crazing to most of the pieces but not bad. Other than these few damages, the condition of the pieces is very good.
