An antique yellowware food mold with an ear of corn in the very bottom. When the food is released from the mold, it will have the corn ear on the very top.

The ceramic was molded in an ovoid shape with ribbing and a well design of an ear of corn. The mold has a raised oval foot. The glaze is thick, soft and a soft yellow color.

7” (17.8 cm) long x 5 5/8” (14.3 cm) wide x 3” (7.6 cm) tall. Weighs 1 lb 4.0 oz (565 g)

There are some chips on the foot, as well as a couple of small chips at the rim and a larger chip on the rim that was glazed during manufacture. There are hairlines at each end of the body, which are visible on both the interior and exterior. The glaze is crazed from usage.

A great piece to add to your kitchen décor, or to use to bake with.
